How can a cleaning company become a good, reliable partner? With this question in mind, Rebecca George, Finance, admin, HR & IT assistant at Sto started her search for a new cleaning partner. Cleaning Masters offered what she was looking for. What is the recipe for a successful partnership? “Cooperate while making and adhering to good arrangements”, answers Rebecca wholeheartedly.

Cooperation means working together

Sto has three branches in Belgium. In September 2022, Sto chose Cleaning Masters to carry out the regular cleaning of the StoShop in Ghent. Subsequently, the scope of the cleaning contract was extended to the office building and the StoShop in Asse. Having led a cleaning business for several years, Rebecca knew exactly what she expected from a new partner.

“It’s not in my nature to say that the previous cleaning team was no good. Hower, their work did give rise to frequent complaints. Nevertheless, a partnership remains a partnership. We therefore need to tell our partners in time when their work fails to meet some of our expectations. As a cleaner’s job is often a thankless one, I think it is important to have transparent communication between partners to ascertain mutual expectations, which will prevent unnecessary misunderstandings and frustrations.”

Because of her experience in the cleaning business, Rebecca is very attentive to the way cleaners are treated. “Cleaning Masters have a respectful interaction with their cleaners. By showing respect to their own employees, the Multi Masters Group also shows respect to us, the client. The cleaning masters who come here reflect the respect and appreciation received, both in the way they perform their duties and in their mindset.”

Rebecca gives an example. “Working with Cleaning Masters obviously entailed consequences for the current cleaner, who had to be taken over pursuant to the existing legal framework. Nevertheless, this person now feels much better and more valued than in the past. A possible motivational issue was turned into a positive story for both parties.”

Not only does Rebeca enjoy the qualitative human contact with the cleaners, but she also appreciates the good connection with the contact person at Cleaning Masters. “Communication is one thing, but there is also the way in which people communicate. Sincerity can be felt. I am not the type of person who falls for mere sales pitches. This explains why I did not choose other companies. I know what I am talking about, and an instant connection was established between me and Glenn, the sales manager of the Multi Masters Group. I feel valued by the way in which both Glenn and inspector Fatima communicate with me. They resolve all issues and when things do not work out, they will tell me, I am sure of it.”

I know that there is a clear communication system. It is a worry less, also with respect to products. As Cleaning Masters provide for their own products, my colleague and myself no longer need to worry about that.”

We know that our partnership can be expanded to include work like window cleaning or green care. The existence of this possibility offers a nice advantage.”

When asked to describe Cleaning Masters in a few key words, Rebecca answered with conviction: “qualitative, personal, sincere and professional. They do what they say, and the client comes first, not just from a sales perspective. A case in point? When a job student is hired for the Summer, Fatima handles the matter proactively and she sees to it that the student does not become an extra burden for me. She supervises the overlap onsite. She explains everything to the newcomer, and she ensures that the work is performed properly. By anticipating any possible issues, Cleaning Masters unburden the client.”
